Warranty and returns
The robot is covered by a limited warranty issued by the manufacturer, Double Robotics, which covers the product against defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of receipt. A part repair does not extend the warranty.
Damage due to normal wear, modification, misuse, neglect, an accident, maintenance carried out by someone other than the authorized center, or force majeure is not included in the warranty. Shipping costs are covered to and from the original shipping location in Canada. The customer assumes all risks of damage during shipment. It is essential to return the parts in their original packaging.
If your item is returned for warranty repair and after inspection is in working order (or in the event of a user error), you will be responsible for all shipping and repair costs.
If you would like to have your robot evaluated or repaired, you can contact Holo customer service at email@example.com. If the warranty has expired, a quote will be sent to you and shipping costs to an authorized repair center or Double Robotics will be at your expense. We will send you the shipping label to coordinate transportation.
HOLO is neither the manufacturer nor the warranty provider and will not be responsible for any action by the manufacturer or warranty provider, including company shutdown. HOLO will not provide Rescue Service should the manufacturer or warranty provider cease to operate, or for any reason terminates its warranty service, or for any other reason fails to fulfill its warranty obligations.
The robots are not intended for outdoor use. Also, it is not equipped to navigate in the rain. Such use will void the warranty.

Customers have 30 days from receipt of the order to return merchandise for a refund. To make a return, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a return number (“RMA”), instructions for returning your item, and shipping labels. We will pay the shipping costs and use our carrier. Any shipment received by HOLO without an RMA is returned at the sender’s expense.
Returns for refunds will only be accepted if the product can be resold and if the original box and accessories have been returned. If the product is returned and shows signs of being used or has parts missing, we will apply a 15-50% restocking fee (depending on the return conditions) and charge for the missing items.
If the provided address is wrong and the shipment is returned to us, the customer will have to pay the shipping cost again. The second shipment will not be sent until payment for shipping charges has been received or approved, and our warehouse receives the first shipment.
